CVBoosters (CVB) is a social enterprise focused on addressing the educational and development needs of students.
CVB runs both an introductory finance course aimed at university students and a set of workshops focusing on improving interview technique, networking and other soft skills amongst university students.
Our team of experienced lecturers and workshop co-ordinators come from the fields of investment banking, management consultancy and accountancy and all volunteer their services for CVB.
Since inception in 2006, CVB has run workshops at the London School of Economics, University College London, Imperial College, Queen Mary and London Metropolitan University. CVB has helped over 500 students with their graduate applications, many of whom now work at bulge bracket investment banks, trading firms or the Big Four accountancy practices.
All profits from this venture go towards supporting the outstanding work of the Friends of the Citizens Foundation (FTCF). FTCF is a UK registered charity that supports the building of schools for underprivileged children in Pakistan.
In 2010, look out for CVB Junior, a ten week, one-to-one testing and tutoring programme aimed at improving the Mathematics and Literacy of students aged four to eleven years in East London.
